This one shipped last week. I was very impressed with the tone and volume of the bearclaw.

Absolutely Stunning Peter. I love the Hebrew lettering in the rosette too. Feel free to PM me with what it says because I'd love to know. ;) [clap] [clap] [clap]

That is a fantastic looking instrument in all respects! Top drawer!

How was the Ziricote to work with, Peter? Any problems with cracking?

Lovely as usual, Peter!
I agree with you about Bearclaw Sitka. Amazing material--where did you get yours?
And yes, translate the rosette for us (what an odd request...)

Thanks Steve,
I can't remember where the Sitka came from but I know now I should have bought a few more sets..... idunno
The rosette is simply my customer's wife and daughter's names. A cool idea I think. (my customers design)

The Ziricote was as easy as any rosewood to work with. Good stuff IMO.

The amazing finish is another one of Joe White's jobs..... like glass!

A very cool looking guitar! Not just the pizazz of the wood (which doesn't hurt) but it just looks like a player's axe.

Great job!

What are the bindings and neck wood? They look really red in some shots, not so much in others.

hi Peter
lovely “warm” looking combination and my size of body.
Did you tint the top?.
I know what sitka can do (sound wise) but I have no experience of Zirrcote, any thoughts on what it contributes to the sound.
best wishes
Geordie

Gadzooks that's a beauty. I can't imagine what it would be like to let a guitar like that go.
