Hey guys - I'm a novice luthier who's gotten bitten by the bug in a big way and I'm going to my first ASIA Symposium this June 10 - 14 in East Stroudsburg, PA. I have attended oneGuild of American Luthiers meeting and found it to be well worth the time, expese etc. I learned more in three days than I did in the previous three months of reading/youtubing, etc. The ASIA itinerary looks equally interesting. I highly recommend the experience for any new luthiers interested in learning a lot fast. I know we're allstrapped for cash these days, but even so, I think it's a great investment.

I'd love to meet a bunch of you folks there. Who's planning on going??

Another Newbie. I am wrapping up my first restoration with good results. Ready to build. Looks like I have the tools, now I need to learn what to do with them :) Been reading. Time to 3D the theory.
I'll see You there. I'll be one of the guys with a Camera.
John

I can't make the whole symposium, but I live close so I might drive in for the day. It would be great to meet some fellow newbies.
Mike.

I am also a newbie, and I am going that Friday for the day (Live fairly local in South NJ, outside Philadelphia). I am very much looking forward to the workshops on Friday! I also will be carrying cameras ;-)

I'm looking forward to the French Polish seminar.
