As if Bob's wood selection and service weren't enough, the monthly newsletter is a welcome bonus to me for the informative content and top all that off with a drawing for a set of wood? eek It just doesn't get any better than this. Just got my Indian rosewood set from the March drawing and it is a beauty. Thanks Bob! What an asset to this community! [clap] [clap] (and here's a couple for Hesh :D ) [clap] [clap]

As the, ahem, first winner of the monthly drawing I, too, am grateful for the great selection, service, value and all around good guy that is Uncle Bob and his kin at RC.

Way to go Joe!

Hesh, get yourself back in the mix. You've got a lot of pictures to show of Heshtones!!!!!!

Well, I'm not a winner (yet), but I can still say that I appreciate Bob's newsletter. It is more than generous of him to give out a free set of wood every month.

Keep up the good work! [:Y:] [clap] [clap] [:Y:]

I will add my appreciation of Uncle Bob (if I'm allowed to call him that).

As a new builder he has been helpful in guiding me to the right piece of wood - and has even sent me "more than I ordered" in a couple instances.

It's nice to actually have someone who still remembers the meaning of customer SERVICE.

Way to go Bob!

I also appreciate Bob and his wood, I have not bought a lot from him yet but my business will increase as my skills get better. It was a pleasure to meet him at Ann Arbor last Sept and I did lighten his trip home by buying a real nice set of Cocobolo and a Adi top, yet to be used.

Maybe we should all PM Hesh, I hope he is well.

Fred

I enjoy Bob's newsletter as well and hopefully this summer will build with a set of walnut I bought from him 3 years ago. Things have taken a little longer than planned.

Looks like Hesh hasn't even logged in since the first week of March. I joined the forum (officially) a couple of weeks later
but have browsed it for well over two years. Hesh, if you're reading this, log in and let us all know you're OK :)

I wonder about Hesh too.

Back to the thread.... Bob does indeed rock. On top of great products and fair prices, he is service re-defined.

Hesh is fine everyone, I didn't mean to drum up all the concern but I'm sure he appreciates it. oops_sign
As we are all aware, Internet forums can suck away too much time and take away productivity. Hesh is fine and very busy in his yard and his shop. Both good things. [:Y:]

Indeed, Bob C DOES rock! He's always got "the good stuff", and I love the monthly newsletter!

Imagine...little ol' ME, featured as Builder of the Month! Thanks to you Bob, for the exposure...and the beautiful zoot, time and time again. And thanks to you all here at the OLF for all the tips I've picked up, the camaraderie, and all the kind words I've been given over the past few years!

Just wrapped up two new builds, will be posting beauty shots soon. One is an Aussie Red Myrtle 12-string dred, the zoot courtesy of Uncle Bob. Beautiful stuff!
