I have been posting on AGF for a while about this Parlor Restoration. I screwed up the story by puting the photo's in a slide show. But here is the slide show (out of order somewhat but fun pix).

The Guitar was a basket case. I learned a ton getting to the point I am at.

To proceed do I;
Finish sand, French Polish body and neck, then figure out assembly
or
Figure out assembly, mount neck and fretboard, nut... except Bridge, then French Polish, then mount bridge and finish.
All advise is welcome.

Are you watching the humidity? That's a big thing that I didn't do on my first one very well.

I am working on staying below 50% and over 70 degrees for the french Polish in my Office where I can control the humidity and heat better.
The humidity in my Basement workshop is very damp usually during the spring/summer. I had 1 dehumidifyer, this year I will use 2. During the winter months it did bounce but I managed to stay between 32% and 65%. Bad, but the best I could do on this round. When it bottomed out I kept a big bowl with a sponge next to the project. I know when I start to build I need to bring it down to (I think) 40%
What I also need to learn here is how to make a 6 - 8% drying room in SWPA for my unused wood.

I keep my stuff in home made plastic/poly control bags, although I dont bounce nearly as much. Everything needs to be stable for a few weeks at around (40-50), or things can start to move pretty bad.

130+ views. I appriciate the humidity info but...... Everyone still wants to watch like at AGF. Hmmmm
No opinions on the order to proceed? I really am looking for some guidance.

I would temporarily assemble, i.e. making sure the neck set and everything is correct, ten take it apart, mask the area for the bridge and fretboard, french polish it, then do final assembly.
