OK I'm kind of excited about this and had to share..

I get a lot of pictures from smaller builders (which I always really appreciate) but not so many mid-large builders want to let out who their suppliers are.. I think the instruments look fantastic, the company has been a pleasure to deal with, and I'm also a fan of the artist endorsing these.

From AsherGuitars.com

"Asher and Harper designed the lap steel drawing on inspiration from the classic '59 Gibson Les Paul. The Harper Series II Limited Edition features a flame maple top with cherry sunburst finish in nitro cellulose lacquer, a pair of Seymour Duncan Custom Shop '59-Style Humbuckers, T.O.M. bridge and tail-piece by Tone Pros.

Production is limited to only 100 instruments, each bearing signature logos of both Ben Harper and Bill Asher. The model also comes with a special signed limited edition certificate of authenticity."
