$45 for four pieces of steel is about 50% more than comparable (e.g., Two Cherries) scrapers. What is the finish on the broad surfaces like? It looks matte in the photo, but do they have less grinding marks than Two Cherries? At that price, they could polish them, which would save a bunch of tedious work (needed if you want to leave a smooth surface). But you get two sizes and thicknesses. I never knew I needed that, but maybe . . . .
1/4" carbide shank broken router bit in a handle makes an excellent burnisher.
