I took a road trip to visit my friend Joe White today and to drop off a guitar for Joe to do one of his superb Poly finishes on. It's interesting to me that this is almost to the day one year later since I first visited Joe and he was just starting out with his finishing business and I was to be his first customer.

As always Joe is one heck of a great guy and he will bend over backwards to help us builders. He also has a passion acoustic guitars that is second to none.

I thought that I would share some of the pics that I took at Joe's.... :D

Here are three beauties with the reso being one of Doc Andy Z's and the slope shouldered dread is a superb looking guitar that JJ built. I don't recall who built the one in the middle but it is very cool too.

Joe does beautiful finishes and also offer bursts and shading - here are some color boards that he uses for the process:

Here is Joe showing me his "Sand Pro" which is a fantastic down-draft table and built locally in Indiana. It is also very attractively priced and now I want one too..... :)

While I was there one of Mike Frank's beautiful BRW guitars arrived and man am I impressed!!!!

Many thanks to Joe for a great day and being the great guy and friend that he is!!! [:Y:] [clap] [clap] [clap] [clap] [clap]
