now that I messed up on the top (a new one is on the way) work started on the back that has just been jointed. I initially sanded by hand but it was really tiring (at least no gym needed... this exercise is a workout in itself) so I started using a palm sander. Now I just about took out all the safety planer tool marks as well as the plane mark on the other side (from the factory). Now the back is about .09" on average once the marks are almost gone. You think I should put more work on one side (I choose) then just forget about the other side and brace it, or should I just get both side until all tool marks are gone? Also the back strip seems to be unraveling a bit near the edge... should I be alarmed or should I just wick CA into the crack and just cover it with back reinforcement? It's one of those macquery back strip not solid wood ones...
