I know at summer Session in Austin in 2006, Gibson got a badge for a local music store owner the second day of the show. He tried to get in but had not planed to attend in advance. He called the Gibson rep and they issued him a badge with in an hour. I know this because we ate lunch next to each other and he told me the story. So if you have any contacts with a exhibitor you might try them.

Craig, remember that at least at the winter NAMM, security is much tighter and you have to show photo ID to match
the name on your badge. At least I did last year. Too many badges being passed around I guess. In years past,
they didn't seem to care, not now... There are different types of badges as well, many have the full badge with
name and association, there are also wrist bands that can be arranged through companies like Gibson and Martin, those
are given out usually by regional sales people etc. One of those may be your best bet.
