I have tried to see the pictures on frets.com, but for some reason my computer wont load the pictures from that site with firefox or IE7.

If someone would please go to THIS PAGE and post the pictures here I sure would appreciate it.

If you happen to have a picture of the bridge plate inside of a guitar with the strings and bridge pins in place that would do instead and is what I am really after.

Thanks in advance,
Ken

Ken I think we would need Frank Fords permission first to post from his pages, (copyright issues) I would think.

If you're just looking for any guitar Bryan Kimsey has some good pics of his slotted bridgeplates vs unslotted. Some really good pics showing the advantages. Not sure if thats what you're looking for but its worth a look just to see his methods I think.

Good luck

Knowing the motive for your interest may help in finding the best shots, from angle to plate condition. Anyway, here's a few past discussions with some shots that I posted.

I am trying to explain to someone whom I am training to build guitars the whole "torque" effect of bridges, the reason bridge plates are there and the differences in them. A picture is worth a thousand words.

I actually found what I was looking for at Brian Kimsey's site, which is the picture of the ball ends of the strings resting against the bridge plate. Thanks for the replies.
