Yes I just rotate the drill press table to one side and move the neck holder in and out of the sander. This picture shows it better.
I used a wood template for 8 years but a couple of years ago a friend that does computer assisted milling in a local factory made me a hardened Aluminum one.

I made templates for the neck angle jig to get the rough heal shape.
Works great!
