I build electrics.
The only plastic I've ever used is for binding.
The large white pick guards on Fender guitars are the ugliest thing I can imagine.
So, please don't put a large piece of ugly white plastic on it!

Here's another small update.

Today was neck gluing day. Frets are installed, and also added the logo on the front and a decorating veneer on the back of the headstock.

The front of the headstock are two veneers glued together, and then I machine through the black one showing the swamp ash behind it, creating a 3D effect.

Can still see the center seam in the back, but it will have a very dark finish :)

What do you guys think? Any bridge and tail piece suggestions?
