Latest doofus. I've been working on #6 for about 4 months, and tonight was the night. Tuners installed, nut slots filed, saddle ready for intonation, you all know the feeling of waiting for the moment of truth, right? Strings. I have no strings? You're kidding me? I guess I can stare at it in the stand tonight....

Not sure if this is eligible for Nov '14 or need new thread for 2015. Mistake was made then, discovered just now. After being rather frustrated with my z-poxy fill (it turned out ok in the end) I just now actually READ THE LABEL, and realized I used another epoxy, which was much thicker and quicker setting. Now that I READ THE LABEL and am using actual zpoxy, I'm finding it spreads much easier and with a little more time! I'm still not believing I did that! Getting a much thinner fill, easier sanding, and life is good again.
