I agree with everyone else, the price you pay for admission is easily saved on the first good deal you grab. Heck I just saved many many times that on the number of items I just grabbed from the classifieds. Well worth it in my opinion.


.....oh wait I mean don't bother with it, never any good deals ;) ;) ;)

IIRC, the dogsled delivery service had a set of tracks going right to your front door, last winter, Joel! laughing6-hehe

Yeah, I'd probably make some extra money by just driving Joel's recent order to his house instead of shipping!!!

Personally, I think it's more about supporting the OLF than it is about finding good deals in the classifieds. That said, I have probably saved nearly $1000 over the years that I have been participating in the classifieds, and have some very nice sets of wood from folks who quit building and guys like John that just had stuff they weren't using. Heck I saved $300 on a couple of Lie Nielsen planes that I use all the time now.
