Mike lots of conflicting information and opinions from ergonomic to better tension for altered tunings. Maybe we need to start a thread on fan fret advantages. For me I just think it looks cool and quite a few players like them.

Fred, now there is an answer I can roll with. I'm not much into fads and what have you. I like the aesthetics if it and that's good enough for me. Yes, I read about alternate tunings and additional octaves. But if I can tune it up normal, I'm interested. I'll start the fan fret thread

Lookin' great, Fred. How did the fretboard work out intonation wise etc.? I've made probably a half dozen for other builders since then but it's so hard to get feedback!
