Alex, i´ll definitely not use a scale length - thanks for the tip. a circular scale has no lenght, right? i´ll probably stick to it. and i´ll make all my odd frets A2, while evens will be O1. got that tip from Ervin.

Miguel, have you considered fretting the bottom face of your finger board to counteract the compression forces from fretting the top? Something to think about...

Not to derail this thread, but I hear Elixer is making a string coated with c37 lacquer. SO you might consider that too in order to assure the ultimate guitar.
