It can be done, but as mr chasson has stated you will need support inside the box to keep from damaging the top.

Using a go-bar to clamp a bridge seems very high risk to me. In fact, I know of one person that had a go-bar slip while doing this and it went right through the top!

I fumbled around testing with clamps and decided to go the vacuum route with a homemade vacuum clamp.

It was easy and that is what I like.

I used Steve Smith’s plan for the clamp. Thanks Steve. [:Y:]
