That will work too - I'm not all that sure about the Bastogne but it was recommended by another builder and I found a suitable piece for a good price on ebay so figured I'd try it. I'll still cut it and bring a board with me.

I plan on useing holly for fretboards as well as back and sides. It can be stained to look just like ebony.
