I use a vlnmakers last name bridge stamp sometimes on the braces, My favorite label has a red poinsettia, with my name , signature , date , location. Dennis like the acrylic painting vy cool,Can I borrow your idea? I like to draw various trees/ fruits/flowers in coloured pencil.

Go for it [:Y:] (and that goes for anyone else too)
That particular painting was pretty tricky due to the size. Usually a toothpick is the smallest tool I get to, but that one took a needle to do the eyes.

The name catgut is confusing. There are two explanations for the mix up.

Catgut is an abbreviation of the word cattle gut. Gut strings are made from sheep or goat intestines, in the past even from horse, mule or donkey intestines.

Otherwise it could be from the word kitgut or kitstring. Kit meant fiddle, not kitten.

I love what Dennis and Quine put in theirs. Acrylic painting [:Y:] bliss Mariano Conde...I think its Mariano...writes a poem that he puts in each guitar.

Cheers,
