I haven't used these yet. The guy I share an office with made them for me. One for Steel Strings and one for Classicals:

Here is my new neck rest. It is very soft leather filled with sand box sand. My last one was wooden and covered with carpet. It recently dented a new finish while hammering in frets and so this is what I am replacing it with- the world's nicest sandbag:

Dang Chris, you're a jig building machine!

Two of the simplest and least expensive jigs I have, but they are two of my favorites.
A dead simple fret bender and some cotton rope.

Binding jig using my router table. Domed disc allows curvature of top or back to remain level. I move the guitar rather than the router.

I borrowed this idea from Chris Paulick's youtube video on soundports. With a series of templates, I can rout a mortise, true up a tenon (I rough those out with a tablesaw to save some routing), drill bolt-on holes for both neck and body, rout a soundport, or rout an endgraft and matching inlay. I don't have pictures of the endgraft templates, but these should give you an idea. One edge of the plexiglas "tail" is perfectly squared to the jig, and serves as the center locator for either bodies or necks.
