Sharpening stones come in a full range of mediums and grits and shapes from round to oval to cam shaped.

Or water papers wrapped around a hard wood dowel also works.

Than honeing compounds on small buffing wheels in a drill press or in a dremel or on leather wrapped around dowel.

Depending on the type of blade shape determines which of the above me use.

Best to keep the scorp well honed at all times cuz its not the easiest to have to sharpen if allowed to get dull as is with most curved blades.
