This should tell you. I haven't used one before. I'm more on the homebrew side of things.

Of course it might just be easier to disolve some schellac.

Well, it didn't work. Day 3 - the Shellac is a clump with wimpy white peaks. So, I will save the rest of the bottle for the A.S.I.A gathering to toast to French Polish.
