My father was on board a troop ship(1942-3) in the So. Pacific when the
Battleship close to them got hit with Japenese suicide planes.

He's a pillar of strength & humilty.
And he's 89 years old!
Lost a son-Lots of time in the war.

Good on you, Todd! Thanks for reminding me and all the others out there to give thanks to everyone who has served, past and present. We are able to pursue our interests because they served and kept us free. It always sounds dramatic to say "They kept us free", but it really is just as simple as that. God bless all who served and are serving as I write!

A big thank you to all Vets, past and present. My father-in-law was captured in the first wave at Dieppe, in WWII, and spent the war in the horror of a German POW camp.
