I too would like to thank John and Brenda for their hospitality. What a beautiful place you guys have there. It was very nice to meet all of you and match faces with names. Let's hope this becomes a regular event. I have some videos and will post them on our Picasa site. I will put links on our gallery page at rctonewoods.com.
p.s.
The zootman is feeling better but still recovering. Although, I had to kick him out of the shop today before he over did it.

Peter, Keep your boot in his rear until he gets well. Glad to hear he's improving. If he's trying to work, he must feel better, or maybe he's just had too much daytime TV!

If I hadn't have seen it with my own eyes I wouldn't have believed it. John & Brenda have the only garden I've ever seen with flamed maple & brazilian rosewood tomato stakes! What a great time.

Real sad I missed it. I almost made it work out before work obligations got in the way. Hopefully next time!

I wish I could have made it. Just a couple more weeks until I get home.

Speaking of Zoot, how's Bob doing with his pneumonia? Get well soon Bob.

Speaking of zoot, the cocobolo uncle Bob sent for Paul and I is spectacular as is the snakewood binding I took home. I was being careful and still spent more than I was hoping to.

Many thanks to John,Brenda and Shawn. Their hospitality and generosity was out of this world. I left Todd Stock's sharpening workshop confident that (with a little practice) I would be able to put a nice edge on some tools. His shooting board and plate joining demos were informative and well done too. Great job!! I missed John Hall's rosette demo, y'all were hiding behind the shop and I missed out!

The whole day was a blast and any of you that were unable to attend should try hard next time to go. I made a lot of new friends and got to see a lot of old friends too. That's what it's all about. Good times, good food and guitars, guitars, guitars....

Well done!! [clap] [clap] [clap]

Thanks for all the well wishes. Getting better has been a slow but sure process. Sure wish I could have made the trip.
Hopefully next year.
