Clearly, this beating is deserved. I fully admit that and apologize for it.

I am getting everything shipped. Most is either out, or boxed and ready to go. There are however, a few things where I need to dig to make sure I have everything accounted for. Sometimes it takes a little work to connect the dots when the user handle, pay pal address, and name don't match, but those are the exception not the rule.

Here is what I have been doing lately. The auction ships the DAY I receive payment for it. If it is on a weekend it is packed, labeled and ready to go that day and dropped off at UPS the next day they are open. International orders take a day longer since I ship these USPS (mostly at the buyers request) and that requires a trip to the post office, standing in line, etc.. That is going to be the new normal. So even as I dig out from this mess I have created for myself, this "new way" is going to be sacrosanct.

As to the rest of it, I am trying not to say much. I don't want to make it seem like excuses. I will fix this with actions, not words. I take fully responsibility for this and I am sorry if any of this has rubbed off Lance. None of this has been his doing. It is mine.

But there are a couple of points I would like to clarify. These are not justifications, just things that shouldn't get lost in the suffle of the larger conversation. The wood is always great. I pride myself on great product, and I always come through -- nobody ever gets stiffed. Yes, it is inexcusable how long it takes me to ship, but I always deliver.

The only thing I can say is I am sorry. Truly. Hopefully in time you will see that I am committed to fixing this permanently. The only thing that will fix this though is DOING this, not talking about it.

I really have nothing else to offer except humility and a dedication to turn the situation around immediately.

Brock,
I accept your apology and I for one know you always ship (sooner or later), but I ain't trippin'. I work at Fort Benning and deploy over 400 Warfighters a week to theaters all over the globe. There are ALOT of small moving parts in our process and when we screw up we just FIX IT. We don't blame or point fingers because no good at all comes from that, nothing positive, we just FIX IT, move on and try to learn and remember lessons learned.

Listen to some of the advise here, or openly ask how you may improve your process. There are many people on here that would be proud to help. We could all learn many wondrous things from them and I'd bet you would get a TON of good ideas that would fit your personality and shipping style.

We ALL want you to succeed Brock because we love you (not in a gay way) and what you do for the Lutherie Community.

Hutch

Brock, as the instigator of this, I also accept your apology. I also apologize for the extreme measures, but I felt something had to be said. We all like your auctions, and sincerely hope you will truly turn the corner on this. You will be a better person for it. [clap]
