The koa dred is just nuts. If the slight mismatch in figure is a bother, I wonder if a slightly bolder side purfling would have made made this less noticeable? Truthfully, though, it looks great from here in California, maybe you are just a bit too close to the pole?

Beautiful guitars, we're always glad to see when our Koa is able to contribute to such a fine piece of work!

In response to the comment about our prices going up; we actually haven't raised our prices in at least the past 5 years. Certain sets with blemishes or cosmetic defects are discounted, and from time to time we will place specific sets on sale to keep our inventory fresh. In all actuality, the prices for our master grade sets are lower now than they were 6 years ago; this may be why we can't seem to keep them in stock!

On a related note, we are currently processing some very nice new Koa and Cuban Mahogany guitar sets and should have them available on our website within the next two weeks.
