I am very sorry to hear of this. I have some idea of what your family is in for as both my brother and Mother-in-Law have had Pancreatic cancer recently. It is merciless. My thoughts are with you.

Thank you all so much for the kind and encouraging words. I know that I only know most of
you from contact here at the OLF, but there has always been a special kind of camaraderie here
that makes this a special place in the guitar building world. Soon after Lance and Brock started
the OLF, it was obvious to me that something good was growing and I thank them for working
so hard to keep it such a friendly place for builders of all levels of skill and experience to come
and share their ideas and enjoy those of everyone else.

As far as my condition and situation go, the news is not good in the scope of medicine or
natural means of solution, but I've been one to look beyond the natural for a lot of what I need
and rely on in life for the past 22 years. We're looking for an outcome that will be counted as
nothing less than a miracle. We've seen them, we've been a part of the group encouraging and
praying for those who've received them and now, we're standing and believing for one in our
own lives.

As Paula said in her post, we'll be heading down to Lehigh Valley Hospital at Cedar Crest in
Allentown, PA on Wednesday morning for me to have the upper endoscopy, ultrasound and
biopsy done to allow the docs to make a more accurate and final diagnosis. The best possible
outcome? The doctors going in and wondering what happened to the tumor and all of the residual
effects of its presence in me. That, of course, is what I'm hoping to be able to share with all of you
who've been hoping and praying with us this week.

We're ready to go through this thing and to come out on the other side with more faith, more
love for one another and a great story to tell about how we all beat it together. Paul Burner knows
how much I love to tell a great story.

You've all been a very important part of my life and I consider you all a part of my extended
family as we've been able to encourage and teach on another over the years here at the OLF. Thanks
again for all the encouragement and for helping to build my faith and hope for a positive outcome.

Hoping for the best and in His grip,
Kevin Gallagher/Omega Guitars

I am so sad to hear this. I will be praying for you kevin. Like my dad said, you have forever changed my life and given me joy through guitar building that helps me get through long days. I will be hoping for something miraculous to happen.

I have weighed in elsewhere, but want to again wish you the best and let you know that you will be in our thoughts.

I hope after all you have done for us and others that we can find a way to be of some service to you.
