An Explorer that's still in the same state it was in the last one of these posts... idunno

And the soldering iron. The neighbor dropped off 4 guitars for some pick up swaps and creative wiring changes, and one for a refinish. He's almost got all the finish off for me [:Y:] and wants Tru-Oil rubbed out with steel wool.

Curious - why not restore to its original color?

I tried to persuade the costumer in order to restore its original color, but he doesn't fancy dakota red and prefers the other color the Fender Mustang was being offered back in the day, which is daphne blue.

#4 is now in the solera, and braces are glued and carved. Ready for side bending and doing some assembling.
