Good to see you back building Hesh. By the way, I love the mess and sawdust. Now that looks like a shop. Can't wait to see it.

I've heard that builders block can be quite painful Hesh.

Might I suggest a mild laxative.

Absolutely sister Lillian the new shop is great. Other then a few little tweaks that I am finding along the way that I could benefit from everything worked out as planned. It's a little big but I know that with TAS you can never have too much space.

What I am most pleased with is the insulation that I surrounded the shop with. Even with -14F temps this morning it's 45% RH and 73F down here and it stays very stable at all times too. I am a little worried that the lights will make it hot in the summer but I do have a 100 CFM exhaust fan on the ceiling venting outside so that may help and I am the first stop on the duct work for the furnace and central air.

We are having fun here with some quality shop time and I thought I would throw up some pics of what's happening. :)

Last night I bent the BRW bindings in my Easy-Bake-Oven. I cooked it once and let it cool for an hour and then cooked it a second time and left it in the bender over night.

While waiting for the bindings to cool I routed the binding and purfling channels. This is my first time out with my new LMI bit set and I have to say that I am very pleased. My old set got dull, like me......, and I was getting lots of fuzzies.....

Fast forward to this morning and the binding are out of the bender.

Let's see how they look.

Not bad! :)

I'll clamp them in half of the mold to help them keep shape until I start binding.

Thanks for looking! :)

Hesh, with Jimi looking over your bending process, you can't go wrong. Jimi could sure bend a note! (sorry)

I love your new shop and can't wait for the open house. I'll be sure to remove my shoes.
