I was diagnosed with aggressive prostate cancer this last April.
My urologist suggested I get a second opinion (meaning specialists opinion )He sent me to a Hospital in Albany N.Y. that had a prostate cancer only staff and they did some tests and confirmed the diagnoses and told me my options.
surgery,Radiation ,wait & see (yes) hormones.
I opted for the surgery.
It was robotic -in one day-home the next!!!
A bit of discomfort and a cathader for 2 weeks.
I go for blood tests every 3 months for the first year to check PSA .
If any shows up then radiation will be in the future.
BUT none has so far!!!

treat it like an enemy-get rid of it !

best to you.
All males over 40 -get your PSA tested !!!!!!
