Chris...You don't even need to thin it out. Try wiping full strength in one continuous motion. I've used it this way on necks as well as other irregular surfaces with both a gloved finger as well as with a cotton rag and paper towel. I like the rag best but YMMV. I've experimented with wiping in circular motions as well but I seem to like the straight motion better. When I thinned it out with ETOH, it never seemed to want to stay in the pores.
