I would like to hear about your unique inlay material and where you get it. I noticed knife makers have an interesting pallet of materials used in handles such as coral, horn, jade, Recon Stone. Here is a website with some recon stone http://www.masecraftsupply.com/Merchant ... Code=RECON

Inlay whatever you can. I didn't have any white pearl laying around on my last and inlayed a piece of maple for my headstock design. It matched the binding quite well! Inlay is not structual or anything so it's all game!

I have inlaid Corian counter top material. Easy to work with, looks nice after being polished and sprayed, multitude of colors. Best part is they give color samples away in kitchen stores. The samples I scored will keep me in blues and greens for the rest of my life and they were FREE! bliss

Still cheap in Reno,
Mikey
