I've started the pore-fill on a Brz/Lutz OM-45. A few shots just before the first coat went on.

Roughed out 1 side of a second dread mold, cutout and glued the inside of same mold, cut up some mahogany and made 8 head and tail blocks, and lastly made new pvc pins for my LMI dread mold. The ones they sent warped too badly I had to cut them in pieces to get them out. I used 1/2" sch. 40 pvc and cut a much wider slot than the originals had in them. They now expand to snugly hold the mold together and are much easier to remove by just squeezing them slightly. Time to clean up and settle down with Cumpiano for the night and study up on routing for my truss rod and neck carving.

My first – taking no chances, I supplemented the 3M 2090 tape by wrapping with cotton cording. Maybe it was overkill but wrapping only took a couple minutes, and afterwards there wasn’t even a hint of a gap anywhere.
