I travel quite a bit on business and when I have down time I'll visit a hardwood vendor looking for something unique. I came across this Brazilian Rosewood set (includes matching sides) that is big enough for a classical. I've pulled my credit card out of my wallet at least 3 times today thinking about telling the guy to hold it for me. Would you be able to resist?

Looks kinda green. [xx(] I don't care for grain that comes together like that in the middle...

Bobby, it looks like it is a very pretty set! It would depend for me on how much they wanted and how much of the history of the wood they knew/could verify. I would certainly be tempted though.

I'm not that crazy about this flamed stump variety. I'd rather get 3 sets of finest quality Indian rosewood.

I believe it would make an absolutely beautifull Mandola back and sides [:Y:]

The green look you are referring to I'm thinking was just the poor lighting. It's a little out of my budget for starters and I'm partial to SS guitars anyway, so I've manage to resist :o
