To all you daddies. Why is it on fathers day, it's really "kids" day? ;-) But then again, there is nothing better than being a daddy. Mothers day is for mom, fathers day is for the kids. Way it should be!

Funny how it is that way.

My Father's Day thing is to go out canoeing with each of my three kids. We have a small river out back and I take turns with each of them. We've been doing this for quite a few years now, so the kids look forward to it.

The other thing for me is to have a few hours to work on lutherie - guilt free!

I usually have to do my guitar building in my shop during work hours. MY work hours, when I should be doing work for money! So, instead of taking coffee breaks, I work on the guitars. Works well in theory, except that I am easily engrossed in doing anything more pleasurable than some of the jobs that come my way and I end up spending way more time than I should have.

And that is exactly when my wife walks in...
