weiss # 2.( looks good from a distance).
guess that didn't work, gotta figure out how to make pics less m.b's.
oh, probably a total of 80 hours, spread out over a year, not counting jig and set up time.

oh that's just some plain old bearclaw sitka i got from a lumber yard. not bad looking or sounding. sides and back are some soft maple from another yard. birdseye maple binding which can't be seen in pics. first try at wood bindings, a little on the hack side. oh well, my builds are improving, thanks to this place. thanks you all! #3 is ready for finishing this weekend? koa back and sides, aaa spruce top.
