David,

Is it possible to attend the luthier exhibits without registering for the convention? In other words, is there a day pass available? I looked at the website, but it appeared from the FAQ's that you have to join the GFA to attend. I live just west of Austin and would love to attend.

I'm not sure Jimmy but judging from past GFA's, the Vendor fair is VERY loosely supervised as the GFA staff are far more concerned with the classses/concerts/competition.
As long as you're looking to just tour the vendor fair, I'd give it a try.
Saturday is probably your best bet.

I believe as in previous years, the Vendor Fair and Saturday's Luthiers' Showcases (blind listening sessions) are free to the public. See you all there!
