What radius would you use on a 12 fret 000? It seems that the choice will affect the required neck angle. I would be interested in what range the OLF members have used on this and also on 14 fret 000 size instruments.

Thanks!

Steve

I've only done two 000/OM size boxes, one is a 14-Fret and the other a short scale 13 fret. Both have a 25' top and a 15' back.

I use a 1 1/2 degree neck angle. When you get here on the open house I can show you how to get a consistent result to avoid the 12th fret hump

John, what radius is used for the 1 1/2 degree neck set? This would affect bridge height, wouldn't it?

John uses standard Martin radii. Then the procedure he is suggesting involves flattening a portion of the rim profile between the soundhole and neck block -he has it on YT.
