I made a little progress on my L-00. However, what was funny was I glued the back and top on last week. Today, I was finally able to flush trim the top and back. After I was done, I picked up the box, and was very disappointed in how heavy it felt - really bothered me all day!!! Then, hours later I realized I never took the spreaders out ...... feel much better :-).

This is going to be a "dark" guitar. Everything is either mahogany or ebony. Black horn nut and saddle.

Thanks Ken. It's a mahogany/catalpa/maple body (has kind of a D-35 thing on the back) with a mahogany neck. It's about 90% hollow and the idea is to be able to run different sound hole pickups in it depending on the tone desired. Probably a piezo under the saddle too. All basically from scrap and a old top I bought from another builder for $10.

Three months left to go in my sabbatical (and time away from home and shop) and I'm jealous of everyone! I can't wait to close up one or two guitars that are waiting there at home.
