I have some highly figured maple and some very nice cocobolo I need cut. I will pay postage to and from. My bandsaw is now history and have no $ to replace. The maple boards are 6.5" x 20" and the cocobolo is 8" x 20" and about 2.5" thick. The final pieces I need are all 19" x 6". The final wood I need is:

Cocobolo 5 x .4"

Cocobolo 4 x .125 - .25 depending on if your saw can go down to 1/8"

Maple 2 x .625"

Maple 4 x .125 - .25 depending on if your saw can go down to 1/8"

Whatever is left is yours!

Here's what I have:

8 maple boards (only need 6 sent back)

2 large slabs of cocobolo

If I need to throw in some $ for something - let me know. I just want to get these cut and done with.

Thanks for reading!

If you weren't so far away, I'd be happy to do the job.
I'm sure someone closer will reply.
Good luck. Dan

Isn't there a hardwood supplier in the area that can cut this for you - for a small fee ?

I found this one in google

HardwoodBoardSource.com
Designer Doors, Inc.
4810 State Route 7
Burghill, OH 44404
1-800-772-0314

- might save you some postage.

Although this is a good deal for one of our luthiers. :)

I can slice it up for you, if Gaithersburg MD 20878 is not too far away for you. And I can get down to 1/8" [:Y:]

Are those the finished S2S thicknesses you need? Or rough with sawmarks?

I have a big saw and am fairly decent at resawing. I have done all my own work, learning as I go.

3 HP, 19" Grizzly, 0.032" kerf blade.

I am in Jackson MI, but will be in Solon, OH this weekend.

Stephen
