Thanks for the pictures, I like the jig for the center strip when the body is completed.

What kind of a neck is that, I mean what wood ?

I see you and Todd do not live to far me either... enjoy the snow ! Laurel just issued a Snow Emergency and there has not been a flake of snow yet. Grocery stores are packed -

Heck, the stores are packed here in Charlotte, and we only got a minor threat of rain mixed with a little sleet! Nothing like 20" of snow predicted! [headinwall]

I like that jig too. It must be nice to have a "savior" so close!

So are you adding a back strip or are you sutting the old one out that is slightly misaligned and replacing it with a slightly wider backstrip? That's a good idea for correcting a back mis-alignment with or without a center strip.
