On Saturday January 13th our friend and fellow member Elvin "Bud" Long passed away. Our thoughts and sympathy goes out to his many friends and family. Bud and his fine Dobro playing will be greatly missed at our meetings. Rest in peace Bud.

Thanks Jim B. I enjoyed my first visit with the other Florida members. Great bunch of guys. It was cool to see other builder’s projects and Dave Anderson’s guitar blew me away.

Thanks a lot Mike,I appreciate that. It was good to meet you and I had a great
time as usual. Playing your restored Gibson harp guitar was the highlight of the day
for me. I had never played a harp guitar before. Like I told you....Someday,
I'm going to attempt one. Here's a few pics

That sure was another fun get together. Mike had some nice guitars too. I'm still going to get a finishing lesson from Dave. That's Dave's Sloped Shoulder Dred I'm playing. It was nice to Mitch Cain again too. Can't wait to see his CNC when it's finished.
Hey, it looks like Jim, Dave and me have the perfect meeting attendance now.
We should remind everyone that we are always looking for a host or ideas about a meeting place.

That was a great time - good to see all you guys again after so long a hiatus. Chris hasn't changed a bit - walked in with rolling pin and a sewing machine  - at first I thought I was in the wrong meeting! But then he showed me that it was REALLY a rolling pin sanding attachment and a pickup winder made from an old sewing machine! [clap]

Met some new folks as well, and again was impressed with everyone's work.

Jim, you put on a good meeting!!!
