I was wondering if anyone was familiar with Black & White Ebony? Has anyone used this as a tone wood?

I have two guitars in production with it right now.

Thanks for the input, I just wondered how it sounded. It's a great looking wood!

I have used B & W ebony before. To date it has been my favorite guitar. It is my personal L-OO
It was easy to work with. The one memorable feature is that that raw wood had a funky smell. Especially when sanding.
Acoustically it is a great sounding guitar, but personally I feel that most of the tone is because of the lightly braced, thin Lutz top from Shane.

I think the Kinnaird Guitar might have been from the same tree!!! I got my set from the Zootman a few years back.

Here are a few picts of it.

Thanks for posting, mate.
