Pretty simple.,,,,and a bit nippy this time of year. Having a little trouble getting the log on my bandsaw table at the moment.

I think Hesh just called me a slob. I resemble that remark! laughing6-hehe

Arnie what a great looking shop with lots of natural light and cool tools. The antlers are also pretty cool - great to have you here my friend. [:Y:]
Thanks. I love my shop. The light from the overhead windows can't be beat. Obviously, it's been a work in progress for years now, and it's not even close to being finished. There's another room dedicated to wood storage and also is home to my Griz cyclone. Now that I've focused on guitars for the foreseeable future, I have no idea how I'm going to use my 3K+ bft of maple, walnut, elm, willow, eng spruce, etc. :o I'm coming to grips with the reality that it doesn't take a lot of wood to build a guitar. laughing6-hehe Suffice it to say, I'm a wood scrounge.

Great to be here. Thanks again to you and others that have made me feel welcome. I am amazed at the talent displayed daily in this forum. Just keep in mind that I'm new to this guitar-building thing.

This is my current shop, soon to be converted over to woodworking and making guitars:

I've got approximately 325 sq feet, wired for both 110 and 220.

I posted these pictues after I renovated my shop a while ago. It is a LOT messier and more crowded now... The plan is about the same, though...

I always like seeing Arnt's shop and would feel right at home there - except in the table saw room.... :D

Nice shop space Kevin - what's it used for now?

Steve your shop sucks man.... :D I would never get anything done there instead I would be dreaming of the water, beach, etc..... Where, generally speaking, are you located it's beautiful!!!!!

Kent you must have the mother of all bandsaws... :D

Hi Colin and it's great to see you posting my friend. Nice shop space too!!!

Haans your shop looks like a working Luthier's shop complete with all that's needed to build great instruments - very cool!

Thanks Steve - I may follow your lead and get a small microwave for my shop too.

Let's see some more shops please?

Great shops, guys!

Here's a pic of my clean room + office/design dep. (lol) + dedicated amp corner:

And this is the waiting room, with its Rubik Cube resolved in a strange manner, and yours truly playing his Telecaster by the end of the day:

I'll post some more pics in the future.

Keep it going [:Y:]

Nothing special, I just commandeered one side of my garage. I think it was a good use of space, and I'm even able to fit two cars in there. The downside is that I get about a half inch of wood dust on my car every morning.... oh well!

Hesh:

I make custom leather gear of a wide variety. The main product are gun holsters and related accessories. However, I've made wallets, belts, guitar straps, purses, biker stuff, archery stuff, award plaques, coasters, note pad holders to name but a few. I also incorporate genuine exotic skins into some of the products. These range from bullfrog to zebra to elephant to shark to alligator, etc.

Ok here's mine as is. Been meaning to clean it but been to busy. Need to throw stuff away but haven't yet. Looks like we're gonna have an ice storm so I should be able to clean it up some since we won't be going anywhere. Will repost with new picts of it clean if I do it.

The bandsaw is ok. It has its issues. I'm not sure I like the guides, mostly the lower ones. I've had it a couple of years now but haven't gotten to use it much. I need to practice with it more. Really though my shop is a mess cause I don't clean up right after each job and it seems every horizonal surface gets covered with crap. I also don't have trash service at my house cause I'm out in the country a bit so getting rid of stuff is a chore.
