G'day everyone,

As promised, here are two sound bites of the latest 0-18. Rosey is her name. Her new owner is a friend of mine who I played in a band with for a few years here in Townsville until the tennis elbow ended my gigging days. I do miss playing on stage with my band!

The first is my single guitar version of Eagles classic, Hotel California intro, the acoustic version.

Second mp3 is a two track recording of a Crowded Hose tune Weather with you. Both tracks are on the same guitar.

She is strung up with 12, 53 gauge strings and was recorded in the workshop, no reverb or editing. Warts and all!!

Hope you enjoy this little guitar.

Cheers

Alan

Alan,

Rosey sounds great. Nice balance and depth with a sweet "snap" as you played the plectrum leads there. Bluesy stuff would sound at home methinks. The strumming sound was very nice too - not at all mushy with a nice separation. Nice playing too - I loved "Hotel California" but you stopped just when I was getting into it, just like the guitar soslo at the end of Joe Cocker's "With A Little Help From My Friends" !! Tell me that's double tracked on "Weather With You" or all of my hats are well off to you. I can't wait to hear "Four Seasons In One Day" now on little Rosey.

Well done you !!
