Hi guys,
I am preparing to start my first Non kit build, I have purchased a plexi-glass top/bottom template from LMI, I want to profile the sides for a Martin "D"
Where can I find the most accurate profile ??
Would I buy a set of plans or is there a template I can buy ??

Thanks
Gregg

A drawing of the side profile is included in Stew Macs "Herringbone" dreadnought plans.
There's side profile templates available here. http://www.aiguitars.com/luthiertools.htm#Side%20Templates

I can't vouch for the accuracy of either.

John Hall has the factory side profiles for most Martins.

Good referal Todd

One thing to consider is if you are going to use the same radii for the back and top that Martin does. If so then John would be the source.
