I am getting ready glue on bracing, but this Texas humidity is terrible! I do my cutting and sanding out in the garage, but I plan to glue the bracing on inside so I just need a dehumidifier big enough to keep a bedroom. Lowe's sells the Frigidaire brand, but the customer reviews on Lowes.com are not too good.

Just wondering what you have or recommend.

I bought one from lowes, It might be that one (I forget how big the tank is) All I can say is try to pipe the drain out somewhere. I have mine tied in to the sump pump on my HVAC. Otherwise you will be emptying the tank everyday. Other than that it works fine.

I bought one from Lowe's too. I don't know what size it is. I've got a pipe going through the floor, and out behind my shop. I have to take it half way apart and blow the dust out of it every now and then but it works great.

Jonathan, I'm not too far from you in Beaumont, and I agree the humidity has been brutal.
I bought a Soleus unit online for about $325 a year ago and it works great, and pretty quiet too. My shop is pretty tight and insulated, and when the humidity is like today, it removes about a gallon a day, and will keep my shop around 50%

I got a GE 65 Pint Dehumidifier, AHR65LM, this year and I'm real happy with it so far. My shop is fairly tight and is 12' x 22'. No problem keeping humidity at 45% even if it is 85% outside. Definitely connect up the drain to go outside, the bucket will fill up more often than you like.
