I have a 2001 Ryan Mission cedar top BRW B/S I decided to stick a light in it the other day to take a look at the bracing pattern and noticed something different, and was wondering if someone could comment on it.

In this guitar all the braces were symmetrically spaced the same in other words the finger braces were the same distance and angle as the upper x braces ( no surprise there) but the tone bars were in the same orientation and spacing as the bass side finger braces. To put it another way the tone bar and finger braces formed a straight line with each other. In most patterns I have seem the tone bars are usually offset and sometimes at a different angle.

Just curious what effect this might give, if any

Thanks
Richard
