Hey Dave,

I'm really sorry to see you're going out of business. I wouldn't wish that on anyone legit! Regarding the 6 x 72 Powermatic Belt sander, is that an edge sander? Can you post a pic? Or if you would rather email a pic, PM me and I'll send you my email address. I may want to talk to you about this and some other items but I must contact my lovely Bride first. Pending her approval I'd like you to put the sander on hold if you would please, until I get back with you. I have to wait till she get's out of her meeting with the honchos of the NSF.

Well Dave,

Looks like I'm out of the market for any more equipment right now. My CFO (that would be my lovely Bride) reminded me of other more pressing needs that we currently have so unfortunately I must pass for now. The only other option I would have is a trade of tone woods but since that's a moot point considering your situation, I guess I'll remain doing some things the hard way for now. :| I hope the best for you.

Sorry guys, forgot to mention that I don't have any intention of packing things up and shipping them at this time. I am in a bit of a time crunch and would like to sell these things locally if at all possible. Once the sale is over if there is anything left I will consider selling with shipping included. But that would probably be after I get moved so it would be a while.

Sorry for the confusion, I just wanted any OLF members in OK to get the first shot at these before I post on Craigslist.

Dave, where in NM are you going? We have friends and family all over the state. Maybe we can find you some storage space until you sort things out.

And for what its worth, I'm jealous. We can't wait to go home.

Hi Lillian,

We're moving to Rio Rancho, just outside of Albuquerque. HP is in the process of building a new site there. We are currently working in Albuquerque but should move into our new building in Dec.-Jan.

Thanks for the offer but I'm hoping there won't be anything left that needs storing.

Dave,

That's too bad. You had yourself a nice shop. Good luck, hope you get back to building someday.

Dave, I'm sorry to see you sell your shop. I hope that you find a way to get back to building one day. There is a Woodcraft on the north side of Albuquerque, on the way to Rio Rancho.

If you get a hankering for shrimp, check out the Ragin' Shrimp. Its on Copper.

Dave,

Sure hate to hear this.....but excited for you regarding the move.

How old is your bandsaw?

What body shapes do you have with the Blues Creek bender?

Dave,

If your Williams binding jig doesn't sell and you are willing to ship - I'm VERY interested.

Thanks and good luck on your move.

Hi guys. Man you wouldn't believe how busy we've been. All this moving stuff is for the birds.

I just wanted to pop back in and say thanks to all the OLFers that either stopped by to buy something or sent someone else over after they heard about the sale. I even had a guy come over after he heard about it from a luthier in Canada, thanks Alain :) BTW, he bought 2 truckloads of stuff.

I also wanted to say thanks to all of you that PM'd me to offer your condolences that I was having to sell off everything. Don't worry, I'll pick up where I left off once retirement finally gets here.

And a special thanks to Lance for graciously allowing me to post the sale here.

OLF rocks!!!

Thanks again,
Dave
