Can someone please clarify for me if you can apply lacquer over a vinyl decal? I have read both YES and NO. Some say that it will desolve the decal and others say it will do just fine. Can someone please help me on this subject, and if so, what kind of lacquer is friendly to vinyl?

Nitrocellulous lacquer will work but you have to mist the first few coats on so that they don't dissolve the printing.
